I didn't realize they dropped the rule they used to have that said 2 teams from the same conference can't meet until a regional final. There are 2 instances where Big East teams could potentially meet in the Sweet 16, Marquette-WV in the East and ND-Nova in the South. Oh well, I thought it was a dumb rule anyway. :huh:

Other observations: Banner year for the MWC, getting 4 teams in, although SDSU kind of got screwed by only getting an 11-seed after winning the conference tournament. KU has a tough road to the Final 4 with potential games against Michigan State/Maryland, and then Georgetown/Ohio State. Hopefully they'll choke. :lol:

New Mexico was the only team from a non-power conference to get a top-4 seed.
