Tejas ripping off mac

I saw that this morning and thought the same thing. Other thought was, Texas is HUGE, who the hell are they trying to fool with this "rebuilding the program" crap. I am thinking most everyone will see right through this gimmick and it will have a bigger negative affect than the positive effect they thought they would get from it.

Whatever, **** texas... We are on to bigger and better things.

ESPN showed this puff piece on UT this morning and twice I had to do a double take - I couldn't believe what I saw....

Building a foundation "Brick by Brick"....sound familiar?? I almost lost it 26 seconds in when a very familiar quote appears posted on the wall in their AD. (I couldn't figure out how to post the still shot, maybe someone else can figure that out).

F**k Texas.

sometimes i tantalize myself by thinking where those douchecommanders would be minus that one play by Vince Young, USC wins the NC, and UT is shutting their yap with almost 40 years since their "all white" team won the NC in 69. UT winning in 05 was bad for football because a whole generation of UT fans discovered their inner hamhead, the "universe" once again centered around Texas, and it was time to go black hole on the Big XII with all the exceptionalism and entitlement nonsense UT fan believes about themselves.
 
My bet is that MadDog or some other coach/coordinator that works or has worked for Texas stole the quoat.
 
I just found an article about Texas chanting the phrase in the locker room in 2002 at kansas state, so apparently they ripped it off a while ago.
 
Why don't we just rent Ralphie out to them too...they are arrogant, but can't they at least be ceative and come up with their own slogan? Why not "Play like a Champion?" Whorntards...:moon::gun:
 
You guys have no idea how much I enjoyed watching UT come unglued last season. As die hard as the fans try to paint themselves, they are FAIR WEATHER fans. At the end of last season, you couldn't give UT tickets away. I saw a friend of mine try to give away a pair of UT-aTm tickets, but everyone looked at the tickets like they were a plague sandwich.

Yeah I scoffed. Seriously, I may hate Texas but they have a solid program and the fact that they are building it back "brick by brick" was laughable. Brown has deluded them into thinking that they are the underdogs. They have the talent and resources to be a perennial team and everyone--including themselves--knows it. Brown had to sell that image to keep his job. I could see them sucking again this year.
