Tennis Hosts Wyoming Friday Morning

BOULDER – Instead of going to class Friday morning, the University of Colorado women’s tennis team will instead be getting ready for a non-conference match against Wyoming at 10:30 a.m. at the Rocky Mountain Tennis Center. The match is the earliest start time for both teams this season.

Colorado enters the match with 3-3 record and is coming off a two-match skid last weekend against Kansas and Kansas State, respectively. The Buffaloes are 3-1 at home this season and will take on a Cowgirls team that’s 2-1.

The Buffaloes hold the all-time record in the series, 3-1, however the Cowgirls, who have won 10 matches in each of the last two seasons, took last year’s match 4-3 in Laramie. Previous meetings between CU/Wyoming occurred in 1997, 1998, 1999.

Hopefully we can turn things around after losing both matches in Kansas last week. We need to win as many of these out of conference matches as we can before we head into the very difficult Pac-12 conference schedule. Also, it doesn't look like there are any live stats for the match, so I'll post the results when I can.
