Texas State

I am in Denver this weekend and I'm going to take my son (18) and a friend to the Texas State game and would like to know what the game day on campus ticket buying is like. Is it possible to pick up tickets pretty easily? Should I secure tickets on Craigslist or should I just go to the stadium and buy tickets from someone with extras? I found some good seats on Craigslist with a parking pass but they are pretty pricey. There are others for $15-$20 each but of course not as good a seat.

Any suggestions as far as parking goes and tailgating would be appreciated. We will be coming from the Aurora area if that helps any.

Thanks in advance and GO BUFFS!

There is a ticket office at the southeast corner of the stadium. You will have no problem buying tix for this game. You can also go online to cubuffs.com or call the ticket office at 303-49BUFFS OR 800-87BUFFS. Welcome to Boulder!!

For parking, I go west on Baseline from Broadway and just park on one of the side streets. 20th to 17th. In that area. If you get there early enough you should be able to find a spot for free. Otherwise I Park at the elementary school across from the campus on Broadway. They charge $15. Its around 16th and Broadway. They'll have signs.

Also parking lots open for tailgating at 8am.

My neighbor is the principle at that elementary school, she truly appreciates the donations.

I'd just buy direct from the ticket office. The game isn't sold out.

Wait a second!! "gtmo?" You aren't a terrorist are you?

No no....I was on the good side of the base!

Thanks to everyone for the info. I found tickets on Craigslist for $20 each so I went ahead and bought them and I'm meeting a guy in Louisville in the morning with a parking permit that is supposed to be a couple of minutes walk to the stadium. I am STOKED! I am a Georgia fan primarily but ever since Colorado kept stinking Georgia Tech from being unanimous national champs I have pulled for the Buffs except for two games.....2006 and 2010 against the Dawgs! I plan on getting to town by 9 at least to soak up the atmosphere but unfortunately we have a UGA / Norte Dame watching party at 5 so we won't be able to enjoy Boulder after the game. Thanks again for the info and GO BUFFS!

At that game, you should be able to easily sneak down to the second row on the west sideline around the 40 yard line and be within 15 yards from inbounds. You could literally knock on the helmets of the visiting players sitting on the bench, but don't.

I'm glad you aren't a terrorist. We don't need those in Boulder. So if you love us for knocking GT out of the AP MNC, you should hate the fuskers because tom osborne stabbed us in the back and gave them the UPI. The backstabbing, good for nothing criminal enabling lizard tongued bastard.

Don't hold back, tell him how you really feel.

Tom Osborne and the Cornhuskers can eat a bag of......I'm new to this forum so I'm not certain what the profanity rules are...a bag of male genitalia.....

Who ever heard of winning a national title in Orlando? Only a trade school like Tech would even mention that embarrassment. And I'm sure some of you know that there ain't a sheet metal mechanic or a plumber from GT who isn't convinced they would have beaten the Buffs if only the opportunity would have presented itself....

Another good reason for Georgia fans to pull for Colorado is that that herd of goats in Fort Collins has the best OC we ever had (not exactly a ringing endorsement) and the more y'all win the quicker he and that brood of kids he has will be looking toward Athens for succor......
