Their offense has been a cluster all year. Watson....gotta love that guy.

To me the Oklahoma loss was much worse than Texas. Texas had a rough year, no real QB, suspensions, injuries, cultural change with players not buying in, but OU was suppose to be in the playoff -started the season in the top 4 and ended unranked.

Arkansas could have a break out year next year.
 
The quality of longhorn football is in an inverse relationship to the hype video. (An all to familiar situation for Buffs fans)

It's amazing UT could be that bad with all that highly regarded talent.

I agree on OU too. Maybe Bob Stoops should have moved on to UF. Maybe he needs to reinvent his staff. That was an ugly ugly loss.
 
I wonder if Stoops might be just a bit too comfortable in Norman. He's getting paid something like $5MM/Year. He'll never be fired. And even if he did get fired, he doesn't need to work another day in his life. There's a certain loss of enthusiasm for ones' job once you come to the conclusion that you don't need it to pay the bills anymore.

Excellent point, Sacky. He seems to have gotten fat and happy there. How much longer are their boosters going to abide getting pounded by the likes of TCU and Baylor, though? I would expect the pressure to ratchet up before very much longer.
 
Well, at least the have their own network. uterus fan can look forward to Texas bowl replays all summer.

Big question is going to be his brother. He is going to face some heat to dump both of his coordinators - one of whom is his brother. Is he going to be able to let Mike Stoops go? Or is Bob going to go down with Mike?
 
This is certainly the worst of them but Stoops has done this in the past.

When he has a lot on the line his teams show up for bowls ready to go, he has put some beatings on people in some bowls as well.

On the other hand when the season doesn't turn out to meet expectations like this year his teams often show up like the bowl game is something they have to do instead of want to do.

Arky wanted that game last night, Oklahoma acted like they didn't care. Arky stil was probably a better team but the Sooners would have been curbstomped by a lot of teams last night.

Arky played Tejass, not OU. OU got mudholed by Clemson.
