Texas tops merchandise sales

Colleague Chris Low took a look at who sold the most merchandise in the second quarter of the fiscal year (October to December 31), and Texas topped the list.

Though the next four teams all came from the SEC, 10 teams from the Big 12 made the list of the top 75 sellers.

Baylor and Iowa State were the only teams in the conference absent from the list.

23. Texas A&M

24. Texas Tech

26. Oklahoma State

39. Kansas State

42. Colorado

Texas' march to the national title game, which included a Big 12 Championship, surely spurred along sales. The Nos. 2 and 3 teams, Florida and Alabama, were nursing undefeated seasons through that period as well.

Those fukers opened up a CO-OP in Dallas next to a Cheesecake Factory and Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa, just accross the street from Park City Mall (equivalent to Cherry Creek mall location, but 250 miles from campus). UT is a money making machine.
