What a satisfying article. Good job **** packing purify, you single handidly destroyed our most hated rival. Can we get him a statue before the next time they come to town?

Re-watched the Youtube highlights a couple of weeks back. Chris Brown was the man with TD's that day, but I always felt that Purify broke their backs with his big runs up the middle on that wonderful day.

If anyone gets a statue for that day its Brown. Had almost 200 yards and 6tds. He stomped a mudhole in their ass.

^^totally agree with this, to a degree the 78 yd TD called back did as much damage as the ones that didn't. Purify set the table and Brown cleaned up, Purify looked gassed at times or he'd got the ball more.

I was more quoting the article and since they think purify packed their **** in, it would be funny to have a purify statue. But I agree, when I remember 62-36, I remember Chris brown.

Oh I know, and agree. And really, the line was the catalyst for that day. Hell give em all statues. Whole damn team. Just think what that season really could have been had we not **** down our leg against Fresno State. Im still yelling at Barnett to kick the effin fg.

That Fresno state game will always be a sore spot. I'll never forget losing that first game, I was 16 and devastated.

We got screwed for the NC game but Oregon whipped us anyways. The season ended as badly as it began. Wish that was a more special season for us.

For what I heard about the Oregon game, the team didn't really give a damn about it. Idk how true that is.

Love watching the 15 minute video/highlights on YouTube. I think it was CB#22 second touchdown were you see Andre gurode blocking a Nebraska player out of the end zone. Love tuffs tackle on the second play from scrimmage, tackling crouch for a five yard loss.
I couldn't stop reading the article. I love that the scarlet and cream (seriously how gay can you get) are admitting the truth about that fateful day
