wow, I never knew that before. He needs to show up at the CEC and watch his godson play this year.

His father, Rod Higgins, played in the NBA for 13 years and is good friends with Michael Jordan - who also happens to be Cory’s godfather. Rod currently serves as the general manager for the Charlotte Bobcats, which is co-owned by Jordan.

Must have been digging deep for that article. It would be really cool if MJ showed up, I wouldnt be suprized if he showed up for the Senior game.

I remember a few years ago when the NBA all star game was in Denver (The game half the team went to denver to party, then got suspended for the next game at Mizzou, thus having us lose to a team we should have beat easily). A bunch of the NBA players came to the CU game, I remember sitting right behind Kevin Garnett and Chauncy Billups. It was pretty cool.

It was actually really funny, he was all slouched over trying to "blend in" but a 7 foot guy with 3 carat diamond earrings on, well it didnt go very well for him.
