Looking ahead to next season, two schools will likely be the heavy favorites to come out on top in the Pac-12. Can you guess who they are?

Arizona is one of them, which shouldn't be a surprise. The Wildcats lose Solomon Hill, Mark Lyons and Kevin Parrom, but they return their highly touted 2012-13 freshman class as well as promising junior-to-be Nick Johnson. They also add Duquesne transfer T.J. McConnell to run the point, and a pair of ESPN 100 talents in SG Elliott Pitts and SF Rondae Hollis-Jefferson. In short, Sean Miller's team will be loaded again next season.

The other team may be more of a surprise -- the Colorado Buffaloes. Much of this hinges on Andre Roberson returning for a senior season in Boulder, but the chances of that appear to be good considering that Roberson currently looks like a longshot to go in the first round of the 2013 NBA draft. With Roberson back, Tad Boyle's club would essentially return its entire starting five -- Josh Scott, Xavier Johnson, Spencer Dinwiddie and Askia Booker being the other four. And the depth the team desperately needed this season should also be better next season, with highly touted forward Wesley Gordon coming off a redshirt season and ESPN 100 swingman Tre'Shaun Fletcher (Tacoma, Wash./Lincoln High) entering the program. That alone would be right there with Arizona for the best seven-man rotation in the Pac-12, and the Buffs will also have as many as five other players that are sophomores or younger that could emerge and deepen the bench even further.

Oregon State and Stanford are two other schools that bring back a lot of talent and experience, but the Beavers and Cardinal are going to have to prove it before anyone believes in them after a string of lackluster seasons.

This makes me happy considering he mentioned Fletcher, when he might be the least talked about guy amongst the 3 incoming players. ESPN likes us, and they don't even know about how good Jenkins, Thomas, and Hopkins might be.

Shhhhhhhh. We don't want the rest of the Junta to get mad at me.

Oh wait. I don't give a ****...

I figured Flounder just likes to say "insider" because it sounds like some magical wonderful place where he's never been..... :smile2:

Someone said awhile ago they think Jenkins will be the best player in the country this season. :smile2:

Is Insider worth the money? Thought about signing up before.

$5 a month. I pay it. You get some interesting stuff occasionally (although it is ESPiN, so you also get access to a lot of crap...).

As part of the subscription, you get ESPN the Magazine delivered to you both by mail and as a digital version by e-mail. The downside is that you get ESPN the Magazine.

Not too crazy about SI anymore, but would pick it over ESPiN any day. I see some interesting looking article titles every now and then and think about signing up.

I like ESPN The Magazine. It's got a lot of annoying graphics, but the content is good. It's not as "literary" as SI, it is more about facts and figures. The increasing emphasis on analytics is great. Insider access is a plus.

You pay 5 bucks a month??!?!?! I pay 3-8 bucks a year for ESPN mag and ESPN insider. Quick google search found one for 7/year. http://www.magazinepricesearch.com/detail/espnmagazine.html

There's definitely some decent content, but I don't know if my life would change much for the worse if I didn't have it. I got it as part of subscribing to ESPN Mag. My niece was selling magazines for school and I told my wife "ESPN" so I'd get Insider out of it.

I'm not too surprised. I'm expecting CU to contend for the Pac-12 title next season. This would be a good way to elevate the Arizona-CU rivalry that seems to be building up.
