Not for me at least.

TCU is #17 in the nation and has had 15 freshman earn significant playing time this season. The most in the Patterson Era. Hopefully get to see BJ Catalon play today, wish he had come here though.

We need results. Now.
 
True, but they still have jr. and sr. leadership, something we completely lack. Those jrs. and sr. and even the sophs. have experience winning and know what it takes. Big difference.

Still doesn't excuse us being 0-3 and doing it in embarrassing fashion but completely different situation.
 
They also renovated their stadium, and it is freaking awesome.

Only played 11 seniors this year. I understand what you are getting at though. They do have a winning culture there. However my point was pointed at coaching. With adequate coaching freshman can perform and perform at a high level.

How long has Patterson been there? I think that is Mac's point. We keep changing coaches and have no continuity. Hell, I don't know what the answer is. I'm pretty torn.

Patterson has been at TCU since 2000.

His worst record during that time was 5-6.
 
London is screwing himself and UVA by playing Michael Rocco over Philip Sims. ****ing idiot. Sims comes in last week and goes 6/8 with 2TDs

London showed a LOT of promise last year. What is going on this year? Attrition? Poor recruiting? I thought he was going to be a stud, but UVA has failed to show progress this year at all.

London is absolutely killing it recruiting. It's is most definitely not that. The problem this season is they lost a lot of *good* experience from last year especially on D and the OL. This year always had the chance to be a bit of a step back with a tougher schedule, I predicted 6-6 preseason. Now, as to why he refuses to start Philip Sims is beyond me. Look for this team to be playing some good football by late October, though, it's only a matter of time before things gel. Next year they will likely be in the ACC championship game. Get used to the name Smoke Mizzell, you're going to be hearing it a lot over the next 4 years.
 
We are really young. We also have had some key injuries. We also just plain suck, coaching included. It's never acceptable to go 0-12.
 
I think the thing with the team is just general inexperience. Let's take a look at the player's on the team with 2 or more full years of starting experience:

Ray Polk (not playing)
Will Pericak
Jon Major
David Bakhtiari

And how many wins among the group as a total? We just don't have the guys who can provide the winning leadership when we don't have the guys who have actually done it. Of that group Bak and Pericak are fairly quiet, Major is trying to fight back from a major injury and Polk is out with injury.
