This One is For Boulder

To bad our team doesn't play as good as these video productions are. We would be allsome !

Sad, that the school felt it necessary to hide the fact that the team said a prayer for those impacted by the floods in and around Boulder.

I thought I saw a prayer in the version this morning. If they removed it now that is ridiculous.

They took out the prayer part. That really really bums me out. Why would the university think that praying as a team is inappropriate? I did it all through high school before games after games and it was a public school. It is not offending anyone.

Perhaps they felt it better to keep Mathew 6:6 in mind.

Matthew 6:6 is pointing more to the the reason and motive of one praying than the place and surroundings. 1 Timothy 2:8 speaks to that. Off topic. But it makes sense, the thing that bothered me was that it was that upsetting to someone that they had to edit it out. I wouldn't have cared if that was excluded from the beginning (it is weird taking a video of a group of people praying imo) but since it was in there it shouldve stayed.

Is it possible the team or coaches asked them to edit? It's possible someone complained, but it's also possible that the prayer was an intimate moment the team wanted to keep to itself.

You're making assumptions. I wouldn't want a video of me praying being plastered on the internet as a promotional video for CU, my workplace, or anything else. Someone associated with the team or in the video could very well have voiced concern after seeing it.

I'd rather see them studying video, helping the community and practicing than praying. You know, stuff that actually does something rather than talking to an imaginary character

Wow, a Ben Mills sighting. They made that Arizona St. game look sweet. I hope we still have this video production team when we're actually good.
