Timing of Announcement of Coaching Changes at CU

So when do we think we will know the fate of JE, EB, GB? I hope it is soon after Utah game so we can try to salvage a recruiting class and have some hope for next year.

I am holding out hope that we don't necessarily know their fate. I can't for the life of me understand how this staff could be kept in any capacity. Keeping around an obviously incompetent staff only leads to additional pain and humiliation.

This is not possible. We have pretty much been guaranteed changes. I think everyone knows GB is a long goner. The questions seem to be whether it is possible JE is gone too. And if JE stays, than the question also is whether or net EB gets fired or demoted to position coach and recruiting coordinator.

I heard Bohn and JE will announce EB will be moving upstairs. It turns out you can get a better view from up there and it should improve our offensive play calling.

Also, Benson announces he fully supports the change in the football program and hails the AD for strong leadership to make changes.

The only change that might be unexpected is EB.

Maybe Embo will sack up and resign

Both. When not one member of the local media says Embree is getting fired, you can connect the dots.

Am I just being optimistic or does it seem interesting to any of you that Bohn has not gone on record (to my knowledge) to say that JE's job is safe? Even AD's of programs when there is a good chance of canning their HC usually say this in the middle of the season.

I wonder if the lack of public support from Bohn means he is reserving judgement and keeping open the possibility that JE could be fired?

MB has no say. He will dance to whatever tune Dr. Phil and BB play for him. We have seen this before in 2009. MB probably knows what should be done, but he will just be the BB's monkey and do what he is told.

best case scenario... my thinking is coach Mac will come out with a "get behind these guys, support is what they need to go along with time" building from ground up speech

History with this administration says otherwise. Bohn publicly announced that Hawkins was returning before the end of the season in 2009. He has not done so with Embree. I personally think that CU is playing it so close to the vest because they may actually be thinking of terminating JE as HC, but are looking for any positive to use to justify his return, which includes the Utah game. If we get blown out in front of 25,000 fans again, they may do it imo.

Make no mistake, people are pissed and the admin is hearing it constantly. Question is, will it be enough?

MB announced D II was coming back the day of, or the day before the last game IIRC. There is still plenty of time for MB to get his fall on your sword orders....
