And a massive THANK YOU to all of those that are down in New Mexico supporting the Buffs!! We are getting national attention for having the best crowd in the tourney so far. The team is really feeding off of it. You have just eliminated any argument a possible poaching school can use against us about fan support.
I appreciate the enthusiasm 'Nik, but you went a tad BCS (counting chickens before...--> jinx) in that halftime post. Those final 20 minutes took forever. No worries though, I think we were all having an outer-body experience. This is what it's all about!
This is what we've been missing at CU!
And it's only getting started!
Back to back 20 win seasons, Pac-12 Champions and one hell of a first half in the opener of the tourney!
I ****ing love this game!

No jinx since we won, and I was right there with you and even broke a superstition of my own by posting during the game (I had refrained from doing so all year, because whenever I enter the chatroom or post during football/basketball games, bad things happen). I'm not making that mistake again. I just remember having a visceral reaction to your post, like when BCS says a that a game is over (halfway through) or when Tini claims that a recruit is a lock. How was that a jinx? I was enjoying the moment and pimping March basketball. I didn't say a thing about the 2nd half. I was actually thinking at the time that ULV was going to come back and beat us.

Just don't do it again 'Nik.
For most of the game, the Pit sounded more like the southern embassy of the Buffaloes’ home, Coors Events Center. Buffaloes fans had waited decades for an N.C.A.A. tournament game this easy for them to attend. This was the team’s first tournament game within 1,300 miles of its campus in 43 years, and its raucous fans gobbled up most of the unsold seats at the Pit, which is about 350 miles south of Boulder. They filled the top rows of sections behind both baskets in addition to their allotment of 350 seats in the lower rows across from the Buffaloes’ bench.
With 13:08 to go and the Buffaloes leading by 18, Colorado students chanted, “This is our house!” For most of the night, it was hard to argue otherwise.
