@GoodmanESPN New Tulsa coach Frank Haith has hired Tom Abatemarco on his staff, source told ESPN.
He wasn't on our current staff.Hopefully we can get someone who knows how to run an offense.
I would have thought he would be able to find a job at a more high profile school.

Best of luck to coach A.

I'm not holding anything against him. I was just responding to some of the hyperbole earlier in the thread. Hell, he was the lead recruiter for Spencer, wasn't he?So we're going to hold something that's a quarter century old against him?

No, Tom was the guy who spotted and kept in touch with Dre. Prioleau was SD's contact, as I recall.
Coach A's legacy to me will always be when Jeff Bzdelik left for Wake Forest and Coach, unsure of his future with a new head coach coming in, continued to recruit for CU. Thanks in part to the contact Coach A had kept with Bzdelik target Andre Roberson, Dre signed his LOI to play for Tad Boyle a week and a half after Boyle's hire. I don't care too much about what happens with Haith or Tulsa but I thank Tom Abatemarco for all he did at CU and hope he continues finding jobs in a sport he loves to be around.
