Lot of shake-up this week. I'm very curious how the voters are going to go.

So, while we wait, I'm going to waste my time and yours with what my AP ballot would have been. Basically, my thought is that if you better either beat someone good or whip the competition if you're playing crap.

I do give FSU credit for the Ole Miss win. We will learn a lot the next 3 weeks. First they travel down the gulf coast a bit to play at USF. USF is 3-0 and has looked pretty darn good so far this year. Then they host North Carolina (talented team). Then they go to Miami, which looks like it's got things rolling a bit this year.

On Texas, they won the best game I've seen all year. Then they lost a one score game at Cal. I'm not sure if they're Top 25, but I wanted to give credit for scheduling ND & Cal in the non-conference. Much respect. (And, yes, they were overrated based on the ND win and being "Texas".)

No **** Baylor in your top 25, Nik?

Care to explain? I need the pick-me-up.

They have played 3 scrimmage level games without leaving the state. As far as I'm concerned, their season hasn't started yet.

Only undefeated B-XII remaining. In pole position for the CCG. Got to be worth a vote, no?

(Except for that little thing about them being a T9 ignoring, rape-enabling, dog-beating, holier-than-thou, sold-their-soul-to-the-devil blight on the institution of college football)

I feel like every team in the Big 12 other than KU and ISU would be undefeated and unchallenged if they had played Baylor's schedule. So why rank them based on it?

Tokenism. Next question.

Texas, Oklahoma and SDSU should not be in there

I think UCLA is getting hosed. If Texas A&M is the #10 team in the country, losing in OT to them at their place while also notching wins over UNLV (midling MWC) and at BYU (quality road win) shouldn't have a team that was preseason #16 unranked right now. That's bull****.

Ole miss at 1-2 shouldn't be in. Granted they lost close games to Bama and FSU, but a team below .500 3 games in should not be ranked

I think we should have jumped that high, however a 20-25 spot would be more likely, IMO.

We will never know now, but we were already getting votes and beating a top 5 on the road probably puts us in the teens.
Texas went unranked to 11 after beating ND, Nebraska went unranked to 20 after beating a #23

week 4 - with az st. Vs cal D dweebb will throw for 500+ yards and score like 100

I don't think CU gets in this week, but LSU and maybe Florida should be out of the top 25, so there is a small chance.

CU will get votes receiving. When we beat OSU then we'll get in.

What this win will do is force some folks who thought the Michigan game was the result of Michigan overlooking us to reassess their opinions.

Going on the road with your backup QB and beating Oregon will grab some attention.
