In fairness, having minus 3 rushing knocks down the passing yards by 12.5% and skews things a bit. And we more than doubled Stanford in the all-important Time Of Possession category. We also had fewer penalties and have out-punted the Cardinal.

You really have to look deeper at the stats in order to see the tremendous progress this team is making.

Zimmer and Johnson brought this up in the 4th quarter and I forget the exact details but they said the record was something like -23 yards against K-State back in 1939.
