As Andre heads towards the NBA, the Buffs have some recruiting to do to fill his spot. Boyle mentioned a transfer he would target if Andre left...anyone know who that might be?

Hopefully he puts the full court press on Black from Memphis or Davis from Tulane.
Heard it might be a straight transfer who wouldn't have immediate eligibility.

There is also David Pellom from GW, Dadrian Collins from Howard, and Mike Moser is still out there. These guys would seem to be options based on similarity to Andre if Tad is simply looking for a guy to play the same style of Andre. If he's looking for another ball handler or shooter, then there are tons of great options out there.

If that's the case, there are some pretty highly regarded players who are on the market this year.
Isn't Moser going to Washington?
Also, I'm not sure of the value of bringing in a guy who will have to sit a year rather than banking the scholly for next year.
If he would be in Spencer's class, that's only 2 guys (Mayor & Ski). Assuming Mayor leaves early, it would help to balance classes by giving us 2 seniors in 2014-15.
Tarik Black was visited by Coach K tuesday night and Bill Self wednesday. He's generating an amazing amount of interest for an 8/5 sixth man.

I asked the most credible of sources (probably not ok to say who) last weekend who we were going after if Dre left, he told a player from Mizzou. He told me the name, but I was already drunk and can't remember who it was. I'm not familiar with the Missouri team, so I'm not sure who fits the bill.

Judging from this article, I'm not sure if the 6-7 player is who you speak of nor do I know if he'd help. Has 4 to play 3 it appears.

The Missouri transfer target rumor is definitely out there. The 6-7 guy (Negus Webster-Chanas) has confirmed he's transferring to Hawaii. The other transfer is 6-4 Frosh Dominique Bull. He only played in 9 games (14 mins) last year. He's a guard which doesn't jive with the forward talk we've been hearing their targeting, but who knows.

Michael Dixon was at Missouri, although he had issues and didn't play last season. He's been rumored to be involved in some crap, but no charges were ever filed. Hell of a player.

Will Whelan said not to hold our breath on a big.
Bull just doesn't seem to be a fit on a number of fronts. First, he's said he wants to get closer to his family, and Boulder is a long way from New Hampshire. Second, from a talent standpoint, I'm not sure I see it being worth sacrificing a 2014 scholarship. He was fairly unheralded coming out of high school, didn't seem to have any interest from CU, and barely hit the floor last year. I don't pretend to know anything about his game, but that profile doesn't give me any reason to believe the staff would give up a shot at a guy like Pickens, or even Paige, to take him as a transfer.

Unfortunately Colorado is now literally screwed in terms of expectations for next season. Having a senior presence (Dre) would have helped us cross the threshold into the promised land of college basketaball.
Some fans (not Nik) will always be unfriendly and egotistical though whether it is Colorado or somewhere else even on a message board.
Like some exclusive all boys network or whateva where a girl gets no respect and gets a post moved (when the other Dre post wasn't even initially focusing on his draft decision) even though she is learning from some of the best and knows hoops.

As I understand it, your post had 1 reply (which asked why you started a new thread instead of posting in the existing one)... so one of the mods decided to just merge it into the existing one.
