Ever been to Monroe? Now, that is really God's ass. Comparable to Wendover Nevada in terms of horrible places to live.
This. Baylor has much better talent but UL Monroe is killing them with execution. Offensive coordinator has Baylor completely confused.
Amazing what a team can do when they are confident and can execute what they do.

I agree, he is doing this with all the players in Louisiana that were not offered schorlaships by LSU. He might be able to win right away with our talent. Thing is, you know everybody is going to want him at the end of the year.

Army is a death sentence for any coach. If you can win there, you can walk on water too.
A lot of guys have to fail someplace before they figure it out. Embree may end up doing the same.

I like Embree and he has been a successful assistant. He may one day be a good head coach. Unfortunately for us it is pretty clear that it isn't happening on this job.

Entire team must be Seniors who were 4 and 5 stars
The previous coach must have left them loaded with talent, that's for sure. Also left them with a culture of winning. Those 4* and 5* Juniors and Seniors are also winners, not losers like some teams have for upperclassmen.

Great ****ing game. Last team with the ball wins. Reminds me of the old BYU vs San Diego St games in the 90s.
Has been a fun game, ULM has no secondary. 75 for Baylor plays like our linemen, he has 3 or 4 false starts.

ULM has a lot of good talent. SEC type talent that can't qualify at places like Ole Miss I'd imagine.
Doesn't mean he's not a good coach. Winning at Arky, coming close against Auburn and Baylor. All 3 of those teams have a lot more financial support and talent than UL-Monroe. If this guy has West-recruiting connections he'd be a possibly good candidate for the Buffs.
