I believe this is the full list of underclassmen who will be in the NBA draft. Please post any updates.

Two players who would have likely been lottery picks but are going back to school are Jared Sullinger (OSU) and John Henson (UNC). Likey first round picks returning are Thomas Robinson(KU), Tyshawn Taylor(KU), Jeremy Lamb (UCONN), Tyler Zeller (UNC), and Mason Plumlee (Duke).

Players who are potential lottery picks but are yet to declare their intentions are Alec Burks, Derrick Williams (Zona), Harrison Barnes (UNC), Kemba Walker (UCONN), Jordan Hamilton (UT), Perry Jones (BU), Terrence Jones (UK), Kawhi Leonard (SDSU), Brandon Knight (UK), Chris Singleton (FSU), Enes Kanter, Jonas Valenciunas, and Donatas Motiejunas.

Hey Nik, nice work (usual). If you have time, could you add the players position to that list? If not, okay, but just a thot. thanx

The Morris twins from KU have declared for the NBA and it looks like they will hire agents.

Perry Jones and Sullinger are two guys who are top 5 picks and just move Burks up in a weak draft class.

Shelvin Mack of Butler has declared without agent. He might be a late first rounder but most likely second round.

Quote from Burks on his twitter account: "I can't wait for the day when I change where my momma stay."

You can probably interpret this as a sign that he's staying or leaving.

looks like he is waiting to see who declares. Not looking good for us. Looks great for him though. sigh.

The other side of this is that there must be a reason that so many top guys are deciding not to leave this year. I'm pretty sure that Alec is gone, but you never know what Chauncey and Durant told him about the labor situation and how likely he would be to get paid next season.

I think he's waiting because he truly doesn’t know what he wants to do and I find it hard to believe that he would base his decision on what others are doing. And if that is something he is paying attention to maybe seeing several of his peers return to school will influence him to return as well rather then leave because his draft position might be improved.

Patrick Ewing and Waymon Tisdale both stayed in school an extra year when they found out Jordan was leaving North Cackalacky. Point is, I think he'd be wise to evaluate all factors -- this is a huge step, either way.

He can't change where she lives with a legnthy lockout....I would wait for the labor issue to get solved and play one more year in college

The Las Vegas summer league has been canceled. This is not a good sign for the NBA. Hopefully Alec will see this as a sign that the labor situation is serious and he'll decide to stick around for another year.

Dammit. I was planning on going to that this summer. Had such a great time this weekend in Vegas (thanks to Nik for the advice BTW) plus I have to go pick up my winnings on my future bet I made on the Nugs winning it all this year.

if there is an NBA lockout, there will be no paycheck until it is resolved.

I'm too young to know, but are you sure about this? To me, Ewing appeared to have been THE guy in college, and if he came out early in the 84 draft, he would've challenged Hakeem for the top spot. I'm not sure Jordan would have swayed his thoughts on the draft...I think he stayed in college due to his relationship with Thompson and the potential great team he was going to have in '85.

I am old enough to remember them in college, but I hadn't heard the story until recently (on radio). Apparently, Tisdale and Ewing both called (might have be a conference call, not sure) and spoke with MJ. After finding out that he was turning pro, both stayed for another year.

Of course, the real tragedy of all this was a guy named Bowie (iirc). 7-footer, picked before Jordan, and had all the scouts/coaches/gm's drooling. The big guy ended up injured all the time and MJ went on 6 championships.
