I'll be honest: I can't really get into the uniform thing. Some people, like Paul Lukas at Uni Watch, do. And he's pretty great at tracking changes and trends across sports.
Here's his Uni Watch for college football, full of Big 12 uniform goodness.

Here's his Uni Watch for college football, full of Big 12 uniform goodness.
A few of the changes to watch when the 2010 season kicks off this week:
- Baylor will be debuting green pants to its already numerous combinations of gold, white and green jerseys and pants.
- Colorado is ditching the names on the back of the jersey and wearing 1990 throwback jerseys at home this year to celebrate the school's last national championship.
- Kansas' names are gone, too, in favor of a more team-oriented Jayhawk logo above the number on the back of the jersey. You'll also notice the red stripe up the middle of the helmet is gone this year.
- Kansas State's numbers on the side of the jersey are creeping on top of players' shoulder pads this year, in favor of some stripes.
- When Missouri and Texas Tech play in Lubbock on Nov. 6, they'll wear camouflage-trimmed jerseys to support the Wounded Warrior Project.
- Nebraska's side numbers are on the shoulder, too. They also have square collars that Lukas says are "odd-looking." There's no way I would have ever noticed this.
- Texas A&M is also debuting a square collar and moving the Adidas logo to the middle of the jersey. Lukas says its way more obvious on the road jersey, and I tend to agree. It sticks out pretty oddly on those. The T-Star logo is also on the back , above the name.
- And remember that white Texas Tech helmet that made its way around the Internet this offseason? I actually thought it looked pretty cool, but Lukas asked the school, who says they were used only to relieve players from the heat of preseason camp, and won't be used in games.
