A) That confuses me as well... "hey, let's tweet a "black" helmet and all the knucklehead fans are going to guess the team will wear white. Morons."
2) Is that actually a "black" helmet? Looks more like the grey/silver/whatever that I would want them to wear if the HAVE to wear silver. Although the chrome look would be better. Whatever "silver" hemet we have now is yucky.

Notice the gold helmets don't have that shine...could we be seeing gold jerseys anytime soon?

I would like the black helmet a lot more if they could replace the current, shiny, gold insert logo with something more simple like this.

I wouldn’t be bothering, except for this:
Is this our new black helmet look? Count me as happy if it proves to be true.
Note - I was wrong - the did cheap mock-ups for everyone with black helmets and silver logos, apparently.
Isn’t there some kind of list of the uniform combos that they will use this season?

Anything shiny on matte is a weak look, IMO. I seriously doubt anything changes over the short term. The logo I envisioned would be a nightmare to engineer and apply as it would likely require individual sticker components to allow the helmet matte to come through.
