Updated Roster

Really like seeing Jynes at 6’3” 310.

Also love the size at WR: Shenault at 6’2” 225, Winfree at 6’3” 215, Ento at 6’3” 190something.

If Roddick can get in shape and become a lineman that can move, he should be a boost to that group at 340lbs.

Hey.... I've got the same build as Shenault. Nice!
Maybe Shenault can be CU's version of Larry Fitzgerald :D. Kidding aside, they are built similar but he's got a ton of work ahead to even be mentioned with that guy. What happened to you since you have the same build?;)

I'd like it better if he was at a reasonable body fat composition, which I sort of doubt.
Possibly. He’s a Freshman who is just getting into the S&C program and won’t be called upon for a few years, though. I suspect he’ll get there after a RS year, very much like Javier seems to have transformed himself (relatively) in an offseason.

Yep, not everybody develops the same. That year will be good for him. Put in the work, see how it goes. Who knows if he's even done growing as well?

Really, I wasn't picking on Jynes, but more the notion that weight is, by itself, a meaningless number. Jynes looked overweight in all his High School pics and he was listed at 310 on rivals. Seeing him at 310 on the CU roster doesn't get me to say "I really like seeing him at 310". Because I'd like to see him lose 50 lbs of fat and put on 30 lbs of muscle. And his High School has a college level S&C program already so I wouldn't be surprised to learn that his lack of offers were due to concerns for S&C drive. Jynes would have been a better player without that waste line.

For the record, I think Jynes could be a good one if he dedicates himself. He's a young man, but that's his biggest risk to me.

I don't really see the difference in an OL that's 300 and is carrying 33% body fat (thus 200 lbs of lean body mass) and an OL that is 250 and at 20% body fat (thus 200 lbs of lean body mass). Actually, I'd take the leaner guy every time (all else being equal).

Good footwork, hand technique, leg drive, and overall strength. That with a nasty disposition will go a long way for any OL recruit.

Didn't really pay attention at first glance but he's got a little roll going. I don't give a rat's ass what he looks like as long as he can step in and produce where we need it most.

Finau looks like he can grow into a DT/DL, if he had a little more length could possibly be a 5 technique. How is this kid 18 years old?
