How did Fickell get screwed? The person who got screwed here was really Fickell. But, since it is Ohio State, they expect to have a big name and win.
How did Fickell get screwed?
I thought for the situation he was placed in he performed better than expected. Maybe a personal belief, but you have a program ravaged of a starting QB and coach. Seems like 6 wins with an even record in a building year is performing, but I have different expectations than OSU.How did Fickell get screwed?

Two national titles is a bad coach?
What rebuilding year? That place is loaded with athletes. I don't think he had any illusions as to what his role would be.I thought for the situation he was placed in he performed better than expected. See BB? He did it in college too!Tim Tebow let him win those games.
I think Meyer is a very good coach, but the pressure was affecting his health and the Gator team. I wonder how long he'll last this time around. Despite the fact that it's the SEC, the pressure in Gainesville seems relatively subdued compared to what he'll experience in Colombus.
There was alot of pressure on him at Florida, and there will be alot of pressure on him at OSU. He's a workaholic, and his health will never last in the long run. I do think he will be successful, as long as his health is good.I think Meyer is a very good coach, but the pressure was affecting his health and the Gator team. wait I thought Meyer had "health" problems so he had to retire? I guess those "health" problems were Nick Saban and Les Miles.
Reports are saying Chris Peterson to UCLA for $10M/year, now that's expensive. That is one expensive coach.
