USC produces the most NFL players

considering the "death sentence" was completely ignored by USC I'm not surprised. I think the top 5 up and comers would include:

Wisconsin
Stanford
Clemson
Mississippi State
TCU

*North Carolina would have made the list but they are done.

It's interesting to see that Alabama is not on that list - probably because they've only been good for the last 4 years or so. Remember CU almost beat them under HaLk in the champs sports bowl a few years ago.

Considering that the penalties currently against SC wouldn't have a major impact on current NFL rosters your point doesn't really mean anything.

This really captures more of the timeframe of 2000-2010 I would think and so this is no surprise. Pete Carroll was sending guys to the league who didn't even start at USC.

That has dropped off already very noticeably and (IMO) will tank for two reasons: The staff isn't what they were and USC isn't finding the best talent nor are they coaching it up. Sure the guys are 4-5 stars (they could offer a wooden stick and it would get 4-stars), but they aren't developing like they were 5 years ago. That is still to be proven a little bit, but I think it's obvious. The second reason is that they will have recruiting limitations for a few years that will have a toll. I don't think it's more than a blip (and somewhat small compared to Kiffen's ineptitude), but it will start to hit in 3 years in terms of the NFL draft.

Iowa is a surprise to me. I think that's a compelling argument for the pro-style, if you are a High school recruit....

Unfortunately for half of those USC guys, they had to take a pay cut to go to the NFL.

No Lawrence Vickers listed on there, so they are missing some.

He's not on the actual list on ESPN -- and CSU still has one more (16 for them vs 15 for CU).
