Very little football going with our boards either.

Last year you guys beat us at our house keeping us from competing in the inaugural PAC 12 Championship game. Not a bad way to fire back up an old "rivalry" (at the least, an old tradition)

Way early prediction for this season... We pay you back at your house this year, putting a losing score for the Buffs up on your new scoreboards (they look good by the way).

Utah beats USC for the PAC 12 South title.

You guys have a good team and I wish you had represented us instead of UCLAme, but of course glad we beat you and snapped one of the longest road losing streaks in the nation!!!

This year I hope/think we win...28-17, but that game is a real toss up in my mind cuz we are so young and untested in almost every position.

Oh yeah, sorry, never gonna beat USC. They'll be in the hunt for a national title me thinks...
 
Horrible, horrible call that thankfully did not cost us the game.

Honestly, I have this gnawing feeling that CU is going to be sitting at 5-6 going into the UU game. With a bowl bid on the line, we step on our cranks.

Welcome back, i agree with half you post, you'll beat us.
 
Nobody gave us any chance last year versus USC... the game came down to the very last play at their house (they blocked our kick that would have tied the game, and returned it for a touchdown).

After that we lost our Quarterback for the rest of the season and had to go with a backup QB that had only competed in FCS play up to that point... and it showed.

This year the biggest question for us is our new OC. Brian is a smart guy but he is young and untested.

As far as losing to the Buffs last year... We have no excuse. We just didn't get it done when we should have.

Gotta say that prediction to beat USC is very bold. Your reasoning in the later post is also pretty optimistic.

But ya, we probably lose. Be careful though, Strange things can happen in Folsom on the day after thanksgiving.

I think we should get better as the season progresses. But who knows how worn down we will be by the time we get to Utah. I'd like to think that if we were in the position to go to a bowl game with a win that we would have a good shot of doing so vs Utah. On the other hand, I don't see us with 5 wins up to that point, so I guess at this point, I'm predicting a loss.

I have to be optimistic... You should see what I pay for season tickets.

I really think you guys take a step forward this year, and start to step away from Dan. You guys proved to me last year... you can't look past anybody. Utah knew what they had to lose and still dropped a big one at home to CU... when it seemed the Buffs didn't have much to play for... but they played for pride, and that beat us. I hope we remember that.

Welcome to BCS football. Take a week off, and you will probably get punked.
 
I still think Utah hasn't quite figured out that they're not playing CSU. For so long, when the word "Colorado" came up on their schedule, it was an automatic win. The problem was that "Colorado" was always followed by "State".

Because Utah won't be at all? Damn I swear people think we are the only team where **** happens to them. We will best Utah again. Not because we are better, but because they are our bitch.

We are the youngest team in the nation with the least amount of production coming back. Utah is not.
 
I thought Utah's play calling last year was really awful. Would be surprised if they didn't come out with a better plan.
 
This is the kind of game USC historically finds a way to lose. I think they've lost their last two games in Corvalis, OR. USC has the talent to beat anybody, but always manages to find some team out there that they can give a game to.

Ha, sorry dude. I know it's summer and we fantasize about our respective teams dominating, but that's just not going to happen. You aren't winning the division - it'll be another low tier bowl for you (nothing wrong with that)

Also, in regards to the CU/Utah series, get used to us owning it. The fact we beat you in your house with our worst team in decades is a precursor of CU owning Utah. Enjoy only being down 31-24-3 in the series, because you're about to start digging yourselves a deeper and deeper hole. You're a good matchup for us - your roster isn't exactly loaded with speed. CU will generally win 6 or 7 against you each decade heading forward, IMO.

USC will beat Utah . . . but lose in inexplicable fashion to the likes of Arizona or UCLA. FACT!
