This was done a month or two ago during the Western Slope tour this summer. Lots of talk about the Pac-12 move and the possibility of adding sports.

And ignore the technical problems they were having at the beginning. It gets better after that... :lol:

The "baseball" dialog was interesting.
Mike did say that the scholarship expense would jump from $9M to $11M with the addition of a title IX women's sport and baseball. He didn't mention facilities expenses.

Mike appeared sensitive to Mesa's baseball niche. He didn't say that if CU had a baseball team, it might draw attention and players away from what Mesa has built. He also didn't come out and say that baseball could be a revenue generating sport for CU.

Sounds like mens and womens lacrosse might be as likely as Baseball/Softball as the next expansion sport.
