After yesterday's debacle in Denver, I find myself in Towson Maryland this evening at an FCS game watching Towson play Central Connecticut State. It is a very different experience than a game in Boulder (or Denver). As a diversion from the usual subject matter of this forum, I thought that I would share some observations.
First, I am in the Towson version of club seating.
The student section opposite from me has a pretty good showing:
And being in Maryland you can get a decent crabcake at the concession stand.
The concourse is somewhat less crowded than in Boulder:
Interestingly, their colors are the Black and Gold. They even chant it: "Black and Gold!" The stadium is Johnny Unitas Stadium, even though he never played at this school, nor coached here. There is plenty room to paint a nice "Colorado" in the end zone.
Their football building doesn't look all that bad:
