The big question here is when are they going to start including live mascots into NCAA football games? Chip, Aubie, Herbie, Cy, and so on are all worthless mascots.
Live mascots like Ralphie, Uga, Bevo, Revellie, and to a significantly lesser degree Cam, THOSE are the mascots people actually give a **** about. :thumbsup:

I'll concede that, Rocky is pretty great. Back in the day I also used to like the Seattle Supersonics' sasquatch mascot, but I don't know if he's still around.

I have to separate the personality from the costume.
No chipmunk with horns gets my support for best mascot costume. The Chip outfit looks like someone overhauled a Disney rodent costume, and it is linked with the pseudo-scandal of the prior HC era. Get the dude some new duds.
That said, I do support Chip's presence at the game. Whenever Chip wanders the stands, cameras come out. People like snapping shots of their kiddos with the mascot. Kiddos are generally freaked out. Chip only smells like beer when a fan spills something on the fur.

My kids have grown up at Folsom and still love Chip at 10 & 13. Chip is cool and great with kids. **** all of you single guys too cool to consider someone's likes and feelings outside of your ****ing age group. :wtf::devil::gun:

I didn't say they should get rid of Chip, I said he's a douchebag. Dinger on the other hand... well, anything that sucks as much as Dinger (roughly 48x more than Chip) absolutely deserves to be destroyed.
