Most football fans will just see the score, they didn't necessarily see the game. The score looks like a blowout.
This is why I'm conflicted. I don't think it was a blowout. Although they did run away with it at the end. They just had better horses at the end.
But all of my friends that didn't go will see a 17 point loss and won't check the box score. When I usually see a 3 score differential I think blowout especially when it's a home team that loses by 17+.
There is also the angle some may have in that UO didn't score 60+ so it's not a blowout either.
Blowout more due to one team controlling the second half and imposing their will on the other team. Oregon controlled both lines of scrimmage in the second half. The score may have been close at times, but we never really challenged for a victory IMO.
Wow.If you aren't a CU or Oregon fan and you saw the score scroll across the screen at any point before about 7 min left, you'd be like "holy ****, I'm turning that on to watch". That's not a blow out. With the way offenses roll these days, if any team is within 30 in the 4th, I'm thinking they have a chance and I'm tuning in.
Listening to the AM sports shows, they seem to think of it as a blow out. Mike evans got on them a bit saying hanging tough doesn't count for much anymore.
What is the point of this? We lost a game we should have won, who cares about the semantics?
Should have won? Did you watch the game?
COULD have won is more accurate I think.
Good for Mike he is speaking the truth. Our coach has been around long enough and has enough of "his kids" on the roster.Listening to the AM sports shows, they seem to think of it as a blow out. Mike evans got on them a bit saying hanging tough doesn't count for much anymore.
Yes, I was at the game, did you watch it?Should have won? Did you watch the game?
