Watching OU/Texas

off to a wild start, this one....good lord. blocked PAT for UT safety....and now OU goes 90 yards rushing on 3rd down for a TD.
 
lot of football to be played...but if that score type stands up. Mack's on a hot seat. he's lost to OU bad more than once.

i don't get the hot vibe of DC we are supposed to get to Manny Diaz? OU put up a thousand points on him last year...and WVU this....etc etc for a mediocre UT team last year. but the network guys keep telling us how great he is.

Definitely struggling under Diaz now. Something is off this year because they were fantastic on defense down the stretch last season.

The crowd over on Shaggy Bevo are so cute in their outrage and dispare. ****in' rookies.
 
let's not forget that Brian Harsin is one of Boise's upset OC coordinators....his UT Offense has been utter crap against OU the last two years.

game is not over, but really?

Mack is only as good as his assistants. and his zone read QB. that's his deal.
 
I recognize that we're in our own level of suck, but at least we have an excuse. Texas is one of the most readily recognized, most ubiquitous brands in college football. They sit as a popular team in the epicenter of a hotbed of recruiting. They enjoy unprecedented administrative and alumni support. They've got ESPN in their pocket. They won a BCS championship in 2005. How can these guys suck?

I know that I'm not saying anything new. I just enjoy writing it.
 
I guess I should follow my own alma mater more closely... at least they play football. Forgot how much fun it is to watch talented players in the right places at the right time and disciplined aggressiveness.
