Way to early 2012 Season Predictions

Here is my enthusiastic take on next year:

CSU(Denver)-W: Especially if Fairchild is gone, they will be breaking in a new coaching staff. If Fairchild stays I think it will be a close game as they have some decent returning talent, but Buffs still win.
FCS Opponent-W: Embree will show what you are supposed to do with a sacrificial lamb.
@Fresno State-W: This is conditional on coach Walrus getting fired. If he is back, I think the young Buffs lose this game.
@WSU-W: Again, conditional on Wulff being fired, otherwise a loss.
Stanford-L: Even with Luck gone, they have a good system in place.
Washington-L: They will be too much offensively for the Buffs.
@Oregon-L: Duh.
ASU-W: This is a tough call with ASU's talent, but Colorado wins this one in a surprise
@USC-L: USC takes a step back next year, but that is still about 10 steps ahead of Colorado.
@Arizona-L: This is a tough call. I think that Colorado can win this one, but giving Arizona the home win.
UCLA-W: This is also a tough one. UCLA has enough talent to win right away with a good coaching staff, but they are like aTm and always underperform. It will also be 30 degrees at game time in Folsom.
Utah-W: The Utes come looking for revenge...and they don't get it.

This is calling for a 7-5 record that seems a bit unrealistic and best case, but there is going to be a lot of change in this league this off season, and I am full of sunshine.
 
It would be easier to know the order of our conference schedule next year, but here is a way early prediction for me with Conner Wood leading the charge.

CSU- W. CSU is soooooooooo ****ing bad. We need to blow them out like their othe rivals Wyoming and AFA have.

FCS-W.

@ Fresno-W. The mental part of losing on the road is over

@ Washington State-W Buffs get redemption from this year.

Stanford-L. Stanford will be much worse next year without Luck. Coudl see either way, but gonna say Stanford right now.

Washington- L Huskies keep getting better

@ Oregon- L Can we score anything other than a safety this time?

Arizona state- W New coach

@ USC- L will be ugly

@ Arizona- L. They will be better next year, although like Stanford , I could see either way.

UCLA-W. Depends on coach, but it's here.

Utah- W. Utes face another grinding season. This type of schedule will hurt them for a few years until they get used to it and some better players.

Only thing I have to say is that I hope our bye comes before the whoregon game. Teams have proven that with more time a game plan can be designed to at least slow them down. We still dont have the team speed necessary to beat them, but I think we at least score offensively.

They hardly lose any of their offensive firepower, but they lose quite a large amount of experience on the O-Line and the LB corp. If LMJ and DT dont jump to the NFL it should be more of the same next season for oregon.
 
Liking this schedule next year. Buffs will be improved, even with all the new faces. Getting Jack Harris back is crucial as well. Those two early road games at Fresno State and Washington State are huge. If the Buffs can get to 3-0 with the win at Fresno State (going to be tough to win there, regardless of whether they're down), I genuinely believe that we will get to 6-6 and be bowling for the Holidays next year. I don't want to get too far ahead of myself, so I'll place my official early-bird prediction at 5-7, but we do have a legitimate shot at 6-6 next year. I've got renewed faith in the Buffs now that I know the Buffs are physically capable of winning a road game.

Both.

Thomas, Barner, LMJ are all JR's. Don't know who is leaving, but De'Anthony Thomas just gets plugged in and he is faster than any of them anyway.
 
I don't know who we'll beat but I do know I want to beat.

CSU, to keep them quiet.

Wazzu, cause we owe 'em.

UW, I just don't like those guys, Sorry DD. I think it's a holdover from when we were both good programs.

ASU, cause they couldn't stink it up when we played them this year? BTW, Liverflukes, sweet win. In 2013, you're ours.

SC, cause Liver ****ing said so.

AZ, cause I think they're our new CSU. I know, RR blah blah blah. Still.

UCLA on principal.


So that's 7 wins. Hmmmm.

Oregon loses 2 OL although the ones we replace are more athletic and bigger lineman. In a way Oregon is replacing 2 3* with 2 4* and they will have 3-4 cream puffs to jell. Our WR core will be better although we lose Paulson on offense, but we will be fine since we rarely use our TE's anyway. Defense will be a lot better with more experience and size. This year was considered our rebuilding year and next year was supposed to be our great year especially since our OOC is a joke.

Well when DT is gone I think we will start using them, but DT seems to hate using our best pass catcher which is David Paulson. Ed Dickson and David Paulson will both do great in the NFL, but in college for some reason they rarely ever had 100 yards receiving. It would be like 1 game a year where they would blow up then disappear.

Btw..playing at Fresno State is tougher than one would think but more importantly, it's a really horrible experience.

I'll bet you posted more chicks in skimpy green and yellow outfits or told them how awesome they were at 3-10 after beating BYU 2.0....Admit it canard, you did something for the new orange star.

Hmmm...I'm going to have to see what canard posted and/or update the cheerleader thread myself.

Yeah, I saw that...CU got rid of the road losing streak and crushed the other PAC newbie. Your team's on a winning streak and probably a recruiting tear with the conference coaching situation imploding. No more Weasel or Denny. Sad... we owned him and Burflict. Even funnier still...latest rumor has Cal vs. our old friend Texas in the Holiday Bowl. Would be epic hatred on many levels for us.
