WBB - csu at CU

I hate to sound negative. I was really excited that Lappe was hired as coach. Great CU player. Had a couple of good seasons. Last year in the Pac, really disappointing performance.

If she loses to CSU at home, I think it gets pretty hard to make a case for her to get another season next year. She has a good recruiting class for next year but I'm not seeing much progress otherwise. Do others agree or disagree? I hope I'm wrong and she pulls out the win tonight and surprises in the Pac this year.

1 disappointing season, and otherwise a complete turnaround from where we were. Take it somewhere else.
 
This team is fragile because they don't have true PG. Kresl is not a good PG, she simply doesn't have enough PG skill to play this position at this level.

I'm worried they will lose a lot of games in conference games.
 
Is is the new freshman, Brecca, the answer? She seems to have potential. They MUST win this game.

Brecca is still too young for this. I'm not sure who is the answer down the road, but I don't like our chance in conference game if the situation doesn't change.

Win while you learn! This was a great gut check win they will build upon.
 
Agreed. They got the W. Let's see if they can improve by conference play. Losing Arielle was big. I'd like Jamee Swann to become the leader of this team. She's got some fire. Let's see more of it!
