Catch this season's games on 630 KHOW

BOULDER –
Colorado women's basketball will have a new home for the 2017-18 season, moving to 630 KHOW on AM radio. This move follows a one-year stint on AM 1600.

"CU athletics has a long-standing and proud partnership with iHeart Denver," JoJo Turnbeaugh, the Region Senior Vice President of Programming for iHeartMEDIA said. "We are very excited to have the CU women's basketball team once again a part of our family and to hear them all season long on 630 KHOW."

The move to KHOW gives the Buffs a strong radio signal and a home that will provide few, if any, conflicts that would bump them to another radio station.

630 KHOW, owned by iHeartMEDIA, is "Denver's Talk Station" and operates with a 5,000-watt signal, reaching Greeley and Colorado Springs.

Cory Lopez will return for his fourth season as the play-by-play announcer for the Buffs. Joining him on the air will be Carol Callan, who has served as the analyst for over 30 years.

Well of course. Can't pre-empt the 24/7 coverage of the Broncos on 760.

I'm not local but I heard nothing good about the signal on AM 1600.

Wish the games would go back to 760

Good. I don't often have 630 tuned in but I have been able to receive it. Can't say the same for 1600 last season. Day games maybe could be listened to ; night games were impossible. And they were pre-empted by DU sports more than once.
