Right? All I see is letdown on the horizon. Sorry to be Debbie Downer, but, we all know how this story plays out. Guaranty a win, get your heart ripped out. We knock off a down and out UA team and all of a sudden we are world beaters? Don't get me wrong. fUCLA is a winnable game, but the genie is alread out of the bottle. Hopefully we can still beat the Utes though.

UA beat UCLA 48-12, we beat UA, therefore.....
I have to go with BP on this one. I don't know much about fUCLA but it sure doesn't look like they have much of a homefield advantage and hopefully our west coast alums will be out in full force. End the streak! Go Buffs!

Seems like UCLA enjoys home field advantage for they've won every conference game @ home this season.

It will be very interesting. UCLA has more talent across the board than we do, that said they also have Skippy as their coach.
This is the story of two teams with fragile psyches. UCLA has been looking for reasons to lose all year. They are turning into a typical Neu team, hit them in the mouth and they fold.
On the other side you have a team that was taught by Hawk that there is no limit to the number of ways you can lose, they were also left with limited talent before the injuries started to hit. On the other hand they now have Embree pushing as hard as he can for them to understand that winning can come from attitude. We finally saw some of that yesterday. The Buffs had a couple of opportunities to fold and they didn't, instead stepping up and grabbing victory.
How long has it been since we heard CU players confident following a game, how long has it been since might or want was replaced with will. Give this team an opening, something UCLA is good at, and they take it an run with it. In the end the road losing streak will be over, maybe convincingly. Somehow UCLA will figure out how to lose and CU will figure out how to win.

The attitude has changed in the Buff locker room. It took Embo 2/3 of the season to get it done, but we are seeing the change. We win this next one and the monkey is gone. Seniors go out with wins in the PAC and kill the road jinx! Makes some great memories for a group that had endured much.

I'd like to think the last couple of games have shown that we have turned a corner, but I'll wait to confirm that until I see that kind of play on the road. These players are night and day when it comes to home games vs road games.
Not sure what to think of how we match up against UCLA. They seem to struggle passing the ball, which is good for us, but it's not like our run defense has been anything to write home about. Fauria vs whoever we let cover him scares me. Prince seems to be racking up the rushing yards, but I just don't get how. He looks really slow and cumbersome when I watch him run. Then again that Toledo QB wasn't winning any track meets...
