We have to change the entire coaching staff

Pathethic performance by the Buffs. Every one has to go, including Cabral. I don't mind donating to a fund that will fund the buyout of Embree contract.

I would donate too, but ONLY if the administration got a proven BCS level coach to turn this thing around.

You know, I don't give a S*** what anyone else says or thinks about this but I will NOT renew my season tix if this staff is still here next year. I've been on the fence, going back and forth about this. I have had season tix for a long time and I am done with this crap! If we don't get rid of this staff at the end of the season then I.AM.DONE.

CU is not only bad, they are a JOKE! A F***ING JOKE!

Snyder's success was a lot more recent than Mac's was. Don't think many 17-18 year olds are going to buy into what you did 16-23 years ago when you're getting ass****ed on a weekly basis

Most of the staff has totally underperformed all year there is no doubt. And I have my moments during and after these blowouts that I totally agree with this.

But I think at the minimum Embree has to man up at the end of this season and make meaningful changes to his staff.

Realistically I think Marshall should be sacked. I think GB should be demoted to DB coach and if he doesn't want to than let him go. GB's play calling tonight was atrocious! How in the hell do you regularly line up a true freshman CB with the nation's best WR in man coverage?

If I am Bohn, at the end of this season I give Embree an ultimatum:
Clean some house or your gone too. And, you have one year to turn this around to make it at least respectable. That is maybe not require a bowl game but that we win at least 4-5 games as a minimum next year and noone beats us by 40 points (even Oregon!).

My point is that if they are not canning Embree this year, than they better give him an ultimatum to get rid of some of the staff that are not performing and show real improvement in all areas of the game next year.

I am not opposed at all to a full house cleaning, starting with Embree (or even above him?) but I don't think it will happen even if UO puts up 100 on us.

Does that ever really work? I haven't done the research, but has a coach ever turned things around after being forced into making staff changes? I doubt it. If you don't trust the head coach to form his own staff then he has no business being your coach.

McCartney is the senile old Jesus freak that recommended Embree and Bienemy. Why anyone would take that senile old coot serious is beyond me. His stupid ass rationale that we needed ex Buffs at the helm is as idiotic as some of the religious stuff coming out of his senile pie hole. McCartney ain't Snyder and Embree ain't McCartney.

If Bohn had half a nut he would have hired a real coach, instead of a make believe coach. I would take Hawkins over this band of misfits and I hated Hawkins. This is sad. The teams we used to compete against are flourishing - KSU, aTm, Nebraska, etc. and we are sitting here deteriorating game by game.

They need to nuke this sob program to the ground and start with a real BCS coaching staff. We are on the wrong path. We are not improving, we are getting worse. Embree is a poor school's Carl Dorrell.

While I won't get as elaborate as branjohb in my response, keep in mind that Snyder had only been away for 4 or 5 years when he came back to KSU. McCartney hasn't been near the football field as anything but a spectator in almost 20 years.
 
What I dont understand are those who are advocating patience as if we should expect anything different down the pipeline. It is not as if Embree and his staff are stocking up on top 10 recruiting classes while the rebuild is going. Like last year, this year's recruiting class is shaping up to be unheralded. it is not likely to be in the top 30. Where is the supposed recruiting prowess of this staff? I dont see it.

The pertinent question is exactly how are we supposed to return to dominance when we are not getting the players and athletes the top schools are getting. Embree and his staff have not shown the ability to out coach anyone. So without top tier players, how can anyone envision anything less than perpetual butt whoopins?

Colorado football is no longer a joke. It is simply dead. Colorado gets blown out every week and no one even gets outraged or bats an eye anymore. Apathy has set in. No one cares. Used to be that I would get so excited any time CU was playing in a nationally televised game. These days I dont even bother to look for the Buffs on tv. And most Buff fans I know really dont care about the team anymore. Congrats to those in charge at Boulder. You have finally killed a program you were never really keen on

We here at allbuffs have cleared Mike Bohn of any wrongdoing in the hiring of Embree. He was clearly strong-armed by coach mac's thugs. He is clearly the best we could ever do as an AD, so i suggest you dial it down there guy.

Mike can be trusted to finally get it right after we fire embree. Third times a charm, right?
