We lost, but on the bright side...

Utah kept their starters in the whole game. John Embree coached team would have lost by at least twice as much. We are too young anyway. Next year we will be way better because some of our players will be a year older and somehow every other team's players will magically stay the same age....


Oh ****, I'm accidentally posting from the future again. I gotta stop doing that before the time travel police catches up with me.
 
I'd much rather win as well but being competitive beats getting killed by a lot.

I'm afraid that some of you are going to be disappointed next year as well. This team was so bad that we can keep getting better and still not be as good as other teams.

This is essentially where I'm at. I don't think any of us realized just how bad this team was and how deep the hole they fell into. Between the lack of facilities and the Hawkins/Embree era this is a program trying to climb out of the deepest corner of Hell.
 
Also, I used to think money was the worst thing about sports, but the older I get I start to wonder if the worst part of sports are the fans.

How so? I've been an unabashed supporter of Rick George and MacIntyre. Even if they lose tomorrow I think the needle is pointing in the right direction and I plan on renewing my season tickets. Unless you believe the best way for changing the fortunes of the football program is to boycott it, how am I a bad fan?

I know you were trolling, but our home schedule next year is death row. We play easy teams in the road. Arizona will be "easiest" conference game we will have at home.

I'm not expecting Stanford to be all that good next year. At some point MacIntyre needs to earn his paycheck

Ah yes, here you are acting like the greatest buff fan ever. Right, because you continue to post 100 times a day in the off season makes you a better fan. Sorry, you dont get to determine who is a fan and what type. Get over yourself and get back to those pie charts and graphs.

Some would argue he should earn his paycheck from day 1, but I guess that's just the capitalist in me. But I do like the strategy of waiting for the teams around us to get worse, I'm on board with that.

Replying multiple times to a person who was not the OPer because you were so mad at the OP you paid no attention to who was actually posting and then instead of shutting up, you keep talking about the OP like you did nothing wrong. Part of the definition of a trantum is acting like a child.
