Very little in life gives me more pleasure in life than seeing negative stories about Little Brother anywhere, much less the front page of the Denver Post website. Yet there it is, with the headline
"A Colorado State University Ram Handler alleges racism, discrimination in program promoting school"

Music to my ears: those self-righteous jackasses once again hoisted by their own petard.

Because the DP is behind a paywall, I will be judicious in quoting, but lo and behold:

"Jessica Balasuriya, a senior animal sciences major, on Facebook accused “Ram Handler” team members and university officials of discriminating against her and other students of color."

Administrators at Little Brother went into full bureaucrat mode: “The concerns brought forward in this case are layered and complex involving issues of culture and accountability,” the statement said. “We are taking steps to evaluate all related issues and areas, including making changes to ensure the Ram Handlers program is welcoming to all students of any identity from any major on campus.”

Don't get me wrong, I am sure that CU would have had a similar reaction, but it gives me enormous satisfaction to see this happen to them. And I admit it, I am a despicable individual for enjoying this schadenfreude. I know my faults. But in this case, I revel in them.

Sounds like a person with an agenda to me. But anytime accusations are made, they have to be taken seriously and the school has no choice but to investigate.

Okay, I would still hate discrimination in their business school, or anywhere else, but the headline wouldn't bring a smile to my face.

Because she appears to be the sole complainant and because she was suspended from the program last year. I also just have a hard time believing that they would select her for the team and then turn around and discriminate against her. It strikes me more as a case where she was on the team with other kids and maybe their was some sort of personality conflict. But anything is possible.

I clicked on this thread thinking CSU had gotten the death penalty and we never had to play them in football again. Damn you @tsarbomba! In all seriousness-I think some on here take too much pleasure when they struggle-CSU isn't a rival. Stop treating them like one.
the op was silly and a waste of everyone's time.

A Ram Handler? Aside from sounding like a job in a South Florida day spa, what does a ram handler do? Toss more garbage into the goat's pen?
