They are untested. The only team they've beat is NAU, (D2) that has a winning record.

Illini - they've been pounded by ASU, Louisiana Tech and Penn State....
Mizzou - they lost this away game to a very mediocre Mizzou Tiger team
Utah - they beat a team that is reeling, having lost to Utah State and coming off a close victory over their rival BYU
Cal - They went into Berkeley and beat a bad Cal team to make them 1-4

They are talented and they will spread the field. If CU can cinch down like they did after making adjustments on defense vs. UCLA and vs. WSU, CU can keep this game close and you never know. It will be loud and well attended on a Thursday night.
 
If we're going to get to win #2 (ugh), this will be one of 2 games that we have a small shot.
 
Does someone want to talk to buffaholic? I'm not real good at interventions. We need someone with empathy. Someone who is kind and understanding. Like Darth or Rugged, maybe.
 
ASU fan. I've actually got sort of a bad feeling about this one. Lots of off time after just winning at a place we hadn't won in well over a decade. Oregon coming up a week later. Just feels trappy. I wouldn't be shocked if ASU had a let down game. Still think we beat you, but I'm expecting it to be uncomfortable.

well I don't like ASU either... especially after going to CU's last two games in Tempe.. my, my their fans sure were assholes - they had this sense that their **** don't stink... a sense that they are a top 25 team year end and year out

And wablty...if you know any of the ASU players, please make them aware of this fact. They can stay out all night, play the game drunk (or high..whatever their favorite vice is) with their pants around their ankles, and still beat us...blindfolded.
 
So their coaches have a few extra days to game plan and you guys still we will win.

I dont see us beating anybody till we can start scoring consistently. Absolutely cant turn the ball over, this team has no margin for error. Gotta start getting guy like Thomas and even Canty involved, we need big plays in the worst way. A running game wouldnt hurt either.
