Good points. The safety issue is probably the biggest concern. While the field is regulation size, the area around it isn’t. Although IIRC there is a five lane track that encircles the playing field so it might not be as bad as we think.Probably first and foremost the TV aspect with all the cameras and angles needed. Secondly, probably the lack of "sideline space" for both teams, staff, support personnel, equipment, etc. How do they get to their respective lockerrooms easily, particularly the visitors? Is everything inside regulation size?
Considering how narrow the sidelines are in Folsom I doubt the IPF is much if any smaller or more dangerous. I am sure that the distance from the field to the locker rooms isn't any greater than it is in multiple stadiums around the country as well, that would be managable.Good points. I have odd ideas from time to time, and here’s one that popped into my head a couple days ago: if we aren’t allowing fans in the stands, what’s to keep us from playing the games in the IPF if the weather gets nasty?
Who gives a ****. It’s just punting. Squib it off an blocker’s back and call it good.I believe punting would be a serious issue.
Against Utah? No.Isn't ****ty weather a homefield advantage?
I think the clearance is about the same as the Dallas Cowboy’s stadium at around 90 ft.I believe punting would be a serious issue.
