But I'd argue that if you underperform to fan's expectations and then disrespect the most holier-than-thou of all fanbases, it might be prudent to avoid goofy antics.

I'm not going to click on that link but I'm not sure how anyone can say it's been good for the program. Just call it what it is. Creepy and weird. And move on.
One of my staffers is a husker fan (but KU grad--I don't get it) and he thought it was a slick move on Bo's part. He embraced the jokes and demonstrated he had a sense of humor, apparently. Good work, Bo.
