Westboro Baptist Church to picket CSU graduation

If everything else the did didn't make so little sense I would be tempted to wonder how with all the universities in the country or even in the region they managed to pick CSU.

We do our share of busting on CSU around here but they just don't seem to fit the bill. They aren't nationally high profile, they aren't particularly liberal by public university standards, they haven't had any high profile individuals or cases that would fit the Westborough agenda.

I wonder if Westbourough has a member or supporter with ties to CSU or Ft. Collins.
 
Didn't CSU's administration recently punish football players for gay bashing and then a football assistant for using a gay slur at an opposing player during the bowl game?

Westboro likely has an issue with those types of things being frowned upon.

They had the incident at the bowl game and that would make sense except nobody outside of CSU and Wazzou has any idea it even happened.
 
CSU should deputize Wu-Tang affiliates for crowd control. They have an excellent track record at removing unwanted pricks.
 
They're strongly needed in NE Nigeria to protest the Boko Haram attacks. I'm pretty sure they'd be fine using a one way ticket.
 
I've lived here in FoCo for a couple years now and I have seen them twice at a Synagogue here in town. Right off of Drake and Shields if anyone is familiar with the area. I don't know what their agenda was for the synagogue I don't think it was a holy time, it was early summer. But also there is a newly built mosque practically on campus, and I live by a pretty big middle east population in my apartment. I wonder if that plays a role in this or if its just the hate they have for everything.

Years back they had a press release calling CU Hillel the "Boulder Beanie Brigade" and were calling on leaders to apologize for some state-sponsored execution that happened a couple millennia ago.

But seriously, **** those people. Maybe Freddie Phelps could get them a message that from what he's learned lately, God REALLY hates bigoted, hateful asshats.

It's not Westboro Baptist, but there's a guy that comes to Georgia State and stands in the courtyard yelling about how everyone is going to hell.
