CU DL vs CSU OL and who controls LOS. Tupou will be subbed a lot in attempts to keep him fresh. Whoever subs for him has to play above average. Forcing CSU into bad down and distance situations plays into CUs strength where DBs should excel, if the hype is real and I think it mostly is.
CU OL cohesion and therefore execution will probably be shaky so unless the RBs can make something out of nothing against what on paper seems to be a depleted CSU DL, Liufau has to be able to see the field, not lock onto a receiver, and get rid of the ball quickly. Look for short outs and slants (no bubble screens please) to salvage what might not be there in the run game for CU. I'll be holding my breath on out routes to Liufau's left.
If they limit mistakes and can execute, CU should be able to open up more vertical passing routes as the game wears on.
