This is my big concern about Jordan.
He took an absolute beating there.
We saw something similar with Cody. In 2007, Cody had a very good year for a redshirt freshman QB. Early in 2008, the offensive line started to suffer injuries and beginning at the Florida State game Cody started to get pressured a ton and take a lot of hits. He was never the same.
In the 2nd half on Saturday, after Webb had taken some hits and was dealing with a hip pointer, he turned into a different quarterback.
With Hansen, we had a guy who played loose despite the pressure on him. But even with him, we saw a big change after the spleen hit on that option. It took half a season before he was back to himself after that.
I'm starting to think that the only way Webb gets past what he's been through is if the OL comes together and gives him time to get comfortable again -- and then we might see him become a playmaker when things break down instead of shrinking when that happens.
