Sure, there have better performances in certain games, but it is hard for anyone to say this team has not earned its current position. In fact, anyone vehemently trying to discredit the Buffs probably has not watched many of the games.

I did not move No. 7 Washington into the vacancy, however. Instead, Colorado jumped four positions, and over the Huskies, into the six hole after its victory over Washington State.
The Buffaloes have a better resume than UW at the moment:
They have played a tougher overall schedule.

If we would have pulled that USC game out, one could argue it was a lucky win with all the turnovers they had. But since we lost a heart breaker, irrelevant.

Funny how memories work. McCartney had double digit wins 3 times in his 13 seasons. Neuheisel did it 2 times in 4 years. Barnett had 1 in 7 seasons.

Yep it is man, I got spoiled with success every year. This year has been special as a fan. They exceeded my expectations and then some. Only thing left to say is FINISH! Either way, proud of these guys, they've done a hell of a job.

It has been easier to rack up wins with 12 game seasons, CCGs, and a bazillion bowl games.

It's still an amazing accomplishment to hit double digit wins, of course, but when you look at how many wins Mac had and seasons with 10 wins, it was in a time when it was harder to do.
