What teams have impressed you the most this season?

I have not watched as much college ball this season as years past...just have been busy with other things to often. The night Buff games have messed my schedule up also.

But of the teams I have watched this season a few really impress me - Clemson and LSU jump out at me. When I have watched them they are physical on both sides of the ball.

Stanford and Alabama are right up there also. I have no idea how Stanford lost to NorthWestern.

Ohio State and TCU are undefeated but seem to be vulnerable at time.

This season has been funny without too many great matchups, yet. A lot of really meaningful games coming up.

Michigan, Florida have impressed as well. Washington St. has come out of no where after they lost to an FCS team.

LSU hasn't impressed me that much so far but that could all change after they play Bama. Auburn has been a huge disappointment.

Memphis. It's more than just that QB. That Ole Miss win really opened my eyes. If they get through Houston and Temple (I think they will), they'll crash the New Year's party with a great shot at winning. Hell, if they do that and Ole Miss runs the table to win the SEC then Memphis would have to be in the playoff conversation.

I think Memphis may play themselves into the Big XII if they keep this up

Temple. That's not a football school. Ditto for Memphis.

Up until last w/e Utah who has taken it up a notch.

Baylor hasn't imploded, nor has TCU. Watching them navigate scandals and engineer OOC and shine in the B12 is as impressive as it is disappointing.

Florida has been impressive - them and Michigan show when teams respond positively to a coaching change. WSU was fun to watch against Arizona, but my bias is always towards physical teams. I always thought that was part of the Boise State magic...they would come out and match up physically with anyone - not an easy task.

Stanford and Bama are playing the best ball right now IMO. I'm impressed with them. Also with Iowa, Baylor, Clemson, Florida, LSU, Memphis and Temple.

I think tOSU and Sparty are really good, just a bit overrated. Okie St is a bit of surprise as is Wazzou.

Iowa has a chance to run the table. Their schedule suits up perfectly for them.

That said, Stanford is the most impressive team, followed by LSU and Bama. All 3 rely on tough, physical lines with excellent RB play. Their QBs all lack that extra something though. Any of them could fall against a lower team.
