We suck
We got the death penalty didnt you hear?
You mean Embre DD? lol
This is going to the politicos forum...
Embree is to Hawkins is what Obama is to Bush, and there's nothing exciting on the horizon...
Something is foul and needs to change, and I mean this with the utmost respect. I want to see CU relevant again and ASAP!
Not going to happen ASAP. Seems everyone wants to start again. So going to have to bring new coaches and system in. then they will have no talent to work with so they have to recruit and start a bunch of freshmen. Then they won't start to be good till their third year. then building off their winns try and bring a better recruiting class in.

I would say that's true if the fundamentals are good: coaches work together, players are buying in, team is getting better. I don't know enough to know if any of these are true and don't think Bohn has a clue if they are or aren't. If Embree has lost the players, he needs to go. Maybe Bohn and/or some boosters could find that out.Dan Hawkins pulled a Chuck Fairbanks and burned our program to the ground. Jon Embree is trying to pull off a Bill Mac and resurrect our program. It took Bill Mac a lot more than 16 games to pull it off. We need to let our young talent develop and Jon Embree will do the same thing down the road.
I know that is hard for the instant gratification fan base here. But honestly, Jon needs more than 16 games, even if it means 0-12 in his second season. He will turn this around.

For the first time?
I remember Coach Mac's first 3 years. It was as bad as it is now. At one point back to back 1-10 seasons. Gee, i wonder if the fundalmentals were good, or we just didn't have the talent to compete right away? Of course 1-10 back to back speaks of coaching? So fire Mac ass NOW! Huh? Give him some time? Why?
The rest is history and Mac becomes a legend. I don't know if Embree is a coach who can pull that off. But I do know that if the same fans here calling for Jon's head after 16 games, would be the exact same fans calling for Coach Mac's head back in the day. Impatient!
What I do know is that this team is young, 11-12 freshmen in the two deep. I can already tell you the season isn't going to get better simply by firing someone, anyone. History has a funny way of repeating itself. After 4 years, Mac was in serious trouble. We need to let Embree have the opportunity to finish what he starts and that is when every player on the field is his recruit and they aren't freshmen.

Not to be a dick, but i'm so tired of hearing every single thing around this program compared to Coach Mac. He did a great job, but his turnaround isn't the norm. You don't just blindly hold onto something because someone else in the history of the school was able to get it all worked out.

Les Miles 28-21 first 4 seasons.
Half of internet "Huskies" are/were calling for Sark's head in year 4.
Unfotunately the first few years of a new HC in college don't mean much.
The jury is still out I'm afraid. No arguments either way from me...
I'm honestly at a loss for words as to how being down 55-7 to Fresno at halftime can't convince you. If I may ask, what exactly would? Do we really need 4 more years of this to make it clear? God help us.
