What would make you most happy?

What would you consider a successful season?

With all the insanity and hoopla over our Buffaloes going 9-2 what would you consider a happy ending? Definitely curious to see where everyone stands.

I'm going with winning whatever bowl game we get. I think it's a huge win to make and win a bowl game.

I went with nothing less than a P12 championship. Not cuz I thought that was remotely possible...just echoing what I hear from the team. I actually already consider this season a huge success...even if we ended up 9-4...

My sentiments as well, already a massive success. I think losing to Utah would definitely suck. But, losing the bowl game would be crushing to me. That's my biggest hope, they go out with a win.

It is already a successful season. I'm not sure I understand the question.

WTF?

Ultimate moving-the-goalposts question. This is already a successful season.

Haha I never stated it was 'not' a successful season. I'm asking what everyone considers successful from this point forward. I voted just win the bowl game, which was my goal all along. Make and win a bowl game.

I could phrase it many different ways but everyone here has a belief that "if we can just do this I'll be happy."

That's all this thread is

This is exactly how I feel. Everything has been gravy since we became bowl eligible. Don't get me wrong, losses will still hurt. But the season has been to this point way above expectations.

Successful season already. Anyone saying or even questioning otherwise is insane and can't have fun.

I voted 'along for the ride'.

Yeah, if we lose on Saturday, that would really suck, and whatever losses we incur the rest of the way would be a bummer, but come on - this has been an awesome ride already.

Since I don't feel like turning this into a debate thread, I changed the name. What would make you most happy to end the season?

Well that's gonna **** it up. Should be a unanimous CFP with that question. You're struggling right now and that's okay. Take a lap and come back tomorrow. Just post in threads other people start. It's not easy to start quality threads.

With the question being changed to what would make most happy, I said Rose Bowl. CFP would obviously be incredible... but I want to spend the new year in Pasadena.

More than anything, I want to see a win this week. These seniors need to go out with a win on Senior Day. At this point, I'm happy and nothing can happen to change how I feel about this season and this group of guys. I want this so badly for them, though, to see them singing the fight song with fans after winning their final game at Folsom Field.

Win each of the remaining games.
It's not a Cinderella season if the Buffs lose in the end.

I'm just frickin' excited to go to a bowl game. Now we're pretty much assured of going to one of the top 4 of the PAC-12 offerings. They're all great locations so I'm pumped.

I'd love to see the team achieve THEIR goal and then compete in the Rose. But that's really a dream ending for me and not an expectation.

WE DON'T LOSE IN COLORADO!!

With roses raining down from the stands. Hollywood type stuff.

It's all gravy at this point. 9 win season, bowl game, that's what we were all wishing for but thought we were being homers to have higher expectations than 7 or 8 wins. That being said, now that we're here... every extra bite we take, provides another building block for the future. 1st goal should be to win the Pac 12 South. They can do that Saturday. 2nd goal should be to win the Pac 12 outright vs. UW or knock off WSU a 2nd time. Finally, it would be a dream come true for me this year, similar to how I felt watching the Broncos rattle off 3 consecutive wins to steal a super bowl, for the Buffs to claim the Rose Bowl berth and go kick some Big 10 teams ass on the way to our first Rose Bowl win. That would underscore that the Buffs are back and here to stay. What a statement that would make to the Pac 12.
