What's With the Wacky Start Times for Weekday Games?

The rest of the season has two 6:00 PM starts, UCLA and Washington. If you live in Highlands Ranch or work in the Tech Center, can you even get to Boulder for a 6 PM start without leaving work way early?
WSU is a 7:30 start. I don't know what the heck is up with that.
ASU starts at 9:00 PM!

You'd think the highest interest games in terms of TV would be UCLA and UW, so why start them at 5 PM in LA and Seattle?

I looked at Wisconsin to compare, and every weekday game starts at 8 PM local time.

Did the PAC 12 hire the scheduler who does the World Series games?

6 pm start time is perfect for me, keep them coming.

Honestly, I wish we had more 6/7 pm starts, maybe even 5 pm. Reason being, a 4 pm PT game will get air time in California, people may not tune in for it, but it will be on tv during happy hours where you may be able to catch a few new fans. And on the east coast, you are in prime time, getting the exposure. Playing these 8 pm or later games, you are not going to get any air time on the east coast, no one wants to stay up past midnight to watch a game.

We complain about east coast bias, well this is probably one of the main reasons.

STFU and be happy.

Just imagine living in the Eastern time zone. Be thankful you don't have 11pm start times.
