What are the 3 things you'd most like to see happen immediately?

What are the 3 things you'd most like to happen long-term?

Mine:

Immediate
- Alamo Bowl Win
- Prime extension announced
- MBB upset of Iowa State

Long-Term
1. Folsom project announced & funding started
2. Big Ten invite
3. CU Events Center replaced with modern facility that can dual purpose as a hockey arena

Agree with all the short and long term things mentioned besides adding sports, unless that’s because we get that B1G or SEC invite and more than double our media rights revenue. I don’t see us adding that much cost to the books when don’t really have the money

Swimming can't be super expensive assuming they have a venue.

The city of Boulder and its schools could use a Natatorium. Could make sense if CU was able to do it in partnership. Maybe something that could make the South Campus finally go.

How crazy can I go?

I want 2 and 12 to be the top two picks in the NFL draft and two sweet sixteen appearances.

That first part became a lot more likely with today's NFL results. NYG needs a QB and the Pats are likely to go with the best non-QB available.

Maye I thought played really well today.

Prime 5-year massive extension along with Staff raises announced on Dec 29th during NFL games

Juju is generational and recruiting stays top 20

Folsom full remodel announced

MBB makes NCAA tourney

Short term - Prime extension, additional support for the hoops programs.
Medium term - RG succession plan, Folsom upgrades, CEC upgrades, increased sponsorship/naming rights opportunities
Long term - increased and varied funding sources identified and developed.

Dream scenario - consolidation of all athletics facilities in and around Folsom, including track, soccer, lacrosse, swimming, hoops, volleyball, gymnastics, hockey, baseball, wrestling by replacing the existing family housing at Folsom and Arapahoe, buying up whatever property is required and constructing the necessary facilities. Yes, I realize this is highly unlikely, but I’ve often thought that area is criminally underutilized.

If Boyle is now publicly throwing shade at ADRG, then I'm reading the writing on the wall and my #1 is a new basketball coach. Is it Manning?

HCDS extension, yes.

I don't put much emphasis on wins or losses in bowl games, but given the emphasis Sanders has placed on it I think we need to win.

I want the XII football schedule released.

Upsetting ISU isn't enough. I want to destroy those bastards. I want them crying all the way home to Ames. I want their New Year ruined. I want them so demoralized they spiral into a six game losing streak. I WANT BLOOD!

I'd also like a refrigerator magnet shaped like a Buffalo with the 24/25.basketball schedule on it

I've been saying this forever, if they built a 50m pool with platform diving well it would be a great investment for the University. I think the only collegiate level natatorium (I'm not sure if its a 50m pool but I know it has a platform diving well) in the state is Air Force, DU has 50m pool and there's 50m pool in Loveland but neither of those have platform diving, and there's a platform diving complex in Lakewood but I'm pretty sure it doesn't have a 50m pool.

The number of local, state, regional, and national meets that you could hold at CU would be countless ... precisely because there aren't many of them. Even most colleges don't have them (50m with a platform) because they swim short-course yards and not long course meters.

Short term: bowl win, Prime contract, surprise seasons for MBB and WBB with tourney bids.

Long term: Folsom project, basketball getting the Prime treatment, football national championship

Personal/CU related goal: I win the $1 billion mega millions and become a CU sugar daddy.

This is the list that best sums up mine, with comments and changes:

Short term: Yes, yes, and tourney bids would be great since they're not expected (at least for men)

Long term: Folsom but not a full redo, just redo the NW corner and then something with Balch, but wherever you do leave it standing!
Getting to and winning the Big 12 CG

Personal: Love this one, I'd get an East side suite for sure.

If I win that, I'm spending whatever it takes to get a NC team.

I'll also endow a hockey team if the AD can figure out a new dual purpose arena.

Short term: Alamo Bowl win, Folsom upgrades on the west side, Tourney bids for the bball teams, skiing national championship (repeat!)

Long term: Major overhaul in the CUEC, maybe even a complete replacement. Build a nicer stadium for lacrosse and add a men's team, but keep it at Kitt (love that view!). Boulder Creek soccer facility/add men's team. Avalanche-Winter NHL Classic in Folsom!

Lottery spending: Dedicated volleyball facility, which could be used for wrestling and/or gymnastics teams. Add hockey; they can play in the upgraded basketball arena.

Edit: I didn't follow the rules, but whatever. I'm a greedy fan.

What are the 3 things you'd most like to see happen immediately?

What are the 3 things you'd most like to happen long-term?

Immediate:

- CEC Improvements to seating, concourse, and concessions, including a hoops hall of fame, re-working the student section to be safe standing-only (remove benches and add rails), and the return of a GA section for men's hoops.
- Significant funding increase for hoops, including a NIL budget within 80% of the top-4 of the Big 12.
- Return to honoring the retired numbers of the past at the CEC; add statues for Rashaan and Travis, if there's time.

Long-term:

- Some honorarium for Tad at the CUEC, when he retires -- can't do the court, but maybe rename the South Tunnel after him?
- Baseball. FFS, baseball.
- Renovations to Balch which honor its past, retain the fieldhouse bones, *and* allow for a hoops scrimmage and/or throwback game to be played there once a season.

Near term:

1. 9+ Big XII Bball wins and a tourney bid for men and women both
2. Win transfer portal season

Long term:

1. A great seat at the table with the next bit of realignment leading to a natural home that keeps us among the top tier. Step 1 might be getting into a 20 team B1G "Ten", but ultimately I want to see a geographically reasonable realignment that ideally ends up with us back in a group that looks a lot like the original Big XII or Pac12 or some combination thereof. Morgantown, Orlando and Tucson should not be in the same Conference

2. Tad figures out a highly competitive path forward in the NIL and portal era, and gets the institutional and financial support to do it. I'm terrified that we're going to be the bargain basement roster in the Big XII and that it could result in a lot of NIT seasons.
