When will Buffs sign a QB?

The DP reports today that he "Pledged" to commit to play at CU. Not the same thing as signing but I'm not sure if he's leaving the door open for another offer?
 
National signing day for football recruits is in February each year. Prior to that point, a prep player can give a verbal commitment to play for a school (as Montez has done) but the player does not sign until signing day and is not locked into the commitment until he signs.
